A California teenager was charged with vehicle manslaughter after the teen lost control of a Ferrari car on Christmas Eve and collided, resulting in the death of a passenger.

Orange County prosecutors reported Thursday that 19-year-old Luicci Nader of Huntington Beach is charged with a felony count of vehicular manslaughter by unlawful manner of driving with gross negligence. He has been booked in jail with a bail set at $100,000.

Prosecutors argue that Nader, who was 18 years old at the time of the accident on Dec. 24, was driving at 100 mph in his parents’ 2008 Ferrari on Pacific Coast Highway in Newport Beach when he lost control and crashed into a truck.

Nader’s 24-year-old cousin, Ralph Abinader, was in the passenger seat and died in the incident. The truck driver and his passenger were severely wounded. Nader also underwent serious wounds.
