A woman of Boyle County involved in an accident on Wednesday when her SUV flipped over nine times, passed away on Thursday, as reported by the Fayette County coroner’s office.
Danielle Combs, 23, of Junction City, was declared dead at 11:05 a.m. at University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital, a news release from the coroner’s office reported.
Combs was killed in a solo accident at the intersection of Old Stanford Road and the U.S. 150 Bypass on Wednesday morning.
She was driving her SUV headed east on the bypass and was attempted to switch lanes when she lost control of the vehicle; it veered off onto a grass embankment, then struck a concrete ditch line and flipped, Boyle County Sheriff Marty Elliott stated.
Combs did not use her seat belt and is believed to have been launched through the sunroof, Elliott reported.
He stated that the wet road was the main source of the accident.
Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home in Danville is in charge of arrangements.
The woman from Boyle County passed away following the crash.
